The champions of the Higher Education and Samia Cup will be decided today in a highly anticipated final match set to take place at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam.

The final showdown will feature the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) taking on the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) in what promises to be an exciting battle for the prestigious title.

The day will begin with a women’s match between KIUT Queens and NIT Queens, followed by the third-place playoff match, where KIUT will face off against another team (exact opponent not specified).

Cornelio Swai, Managing Director of Conel Investment, confirmed that all preparations have been completed and everything is ready for the teams to take the field.

We expect a highly competitive final. All the teams are well-prepared and eager to lift the trophy. We believe this tournament will deliver exactly what we aimed for,” said Swai.

He added, “From an organizational standpoint, everything is in place. Now we look forward to tomorrow (today), when the players will showcase their talents and entertain the crowd, and ultimately, we’ll crown the new champions.”

Swai also encouraged stakeholders, students, and residents of Dar es Salaam to attend in large numbers and witness the display of talent in what is expected to be a historic final.
