Yanga bags 50m/- from presidential goal package in two CAF CL games

By Our Special Correspondent

Young Africans have pocketed a total of 50m/- from the presidential goal motivation package after scoring 10 goals in their two first preliminary round matches of CAF Champions League (CAF CL).

They have produced an aggregate 10-0 win over Vital'O of Burundi to progress to the second preliminary round of the champions league and will face CBE FC of Ethiopia in another two-legged games.

The overall winner after the two reverse matches will book a ticket of venturing into the group stage of the lucrative club football contest on the continent.

However, President Samia Suluhu Hassan through her goal motivation package, she buys each goal scored by a Tanzanian team in the preliminary round of CAF Interclub Competitions for 5m/-.

The purchase is only made from matches that a Tanzanian team scores and win... meaning that in games that end in draw or defeat of goals, the business does not stand.

As such, in the first leg match against Vital'O, Yanga won 4-0 and on Saturday, they emerged 6-0 victors hence gathering a sum of 50m/- from the presidential package.

Goals from Pacome Zouzoua, Clatous Chama, Clement Mzize, Prince Dube, Stephanie Aziz Ki and a late stunner by Mudathir Yahya were enough to give Yanga the huge triumph at a packed Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam on Saturday.
