Magoroto festival: a must-visit September event

From September 13th to 15th, Magoroto Forest Estate will host a weekend filled with excitement and natural beauty event dubbed “Magoroto Camping Festival”.

This annual event is set in the stunning Muheza region of Tanga, where participants can experience the magic of the forest.

For those who prefer more comfort, the Room or Cottage Package is available for TZS 175,000 for residents and USD90 for non-residents.

“If you want a secluded stay, the Lakeside Cabin is the ideal choice at TZS185,000 for residents and USD 95 for non-residents” organizers say in an advertorial banner.

Each package includes meals, activities, accommodation, and entry fees, ensuring a worry-free experience.

The festival is packed with activities for everyone. Nature lovers can explore scenic trails, hike to waterfalls, and watch breathtaking sunsets.

Water activities include boat rides, rafting, and fishing on the calm lake. Creative guests can enjoy painting sessions in the peaceful surroundings.

For those who enjoy a bit of competition, the festival offers various games and challenges. Guests can participate in tug-of-war, volleyball, and treasure hunts throughout the forest.
