Tanzania is wrapping up the year with a festive bang as its Santa Mizawadi
campaign continues to surprise lucky winners across the country. As the second
week of the draw concluded, Airtel customers were thrilled with the prizes they
received, making this holiday season even more special.
Ngusa
Konzongwe from Tabora was overjoyed to win the Itel A80 smartphone, which he
plans to use to support his farming activities. "This smartphone will be
very useful in my work," he said.
Saigilu,
a resident of Longido, celebrated winning a 55-inch Smart TV. "I’ve never
had a TV at home, and now I can start the new year with my family in front of
the TV. I’m so grateful to Airtel Tanzania," he shared.
Jumanne
Saidi Kigomba from Kibiti, Pwani Region, won TZS 1 million, a prize he says
will help him overcome the challenges of farming. "Life on the farm is
tough, and this win is a huge relief. I’ll celebrate with a family meal as we
enter 2025," he said.
Amani
Kasisi from Mbeya, who won a motorcycle, expressed his excitement, saying it
would help him in his welding business. "This is a blessing from Airtel. I
plan to use the motorcycle for work and open an Airtel Money kiosk," he
said.
Batuli
Shichambo from Tanga, who won an Airtel Smart Router, was also grateful,
sharing that while she doesn't own a smartphone, she’s inspired to get one for
her family.
Mangi
Ibrahim, a mechanic from Mwanza, won a smartphone just in time to gift it to
his wife. "This phone is for my wife, and I’m thankful to Airtel for
making this possible," he said.
The
competition continues throughout December and into January 2025, with more
chances to win big prizes. Airtel’s Customer Experience Manager, Celine Njuju,
encouraged all Airtel users to keep participating, emphasizing the importance
of accepting calls from the correct winner's number—100. "We want to make
sure our winners are real. Don’t fall for scams. Only accept calls from
100," Njuju reminded customers.
As
the campaign wraps up, Airtel Tanzania continues to spread joy and connect
communities, making this festive season one to remember for many Tanzanians.
