By Victoria Godfrey

Simba SC has taken a significant step forward in its development by officially naming Jayrutty Investment Company as the new supplier of its products and merchandise, securing a five-year contract valued at 38 billion Tanzanian Shillings.

During the announcement ceremony, Seif Muba, Chairman of Simba's Tender Committee, revealed that after reviewing numerous bids from various companies, Jayrutty emerged as the winner due to the superior quality of their offer.

"Jayrutty has won the tender to sell and distribute all Simba products. The club will receive 5.6 billion Shillings annually, with the amount increasing by 10% each year," Muba explained.

Joseph Rwegasira, Director of Jayrutty, elaborated that the contract goes beyond merchandise and includes large-scale development projects.

One such project is the construction of a state-of-the-art stadium with the capacity to accommodate between 10,000 and 12,000 spectators.

"In addition to the stadium, we will also provide a modern Irizar bus for the team’s travels. We are committed to contributing 100 million Shillings annually for Simba Day celebrations, and we will upgrade the club's medical facilities," Rwegasira stated.

Furthermore, Jayrutty will allocate 470 million Shillings every year as incentives for the players, which will include performance bonuses for achievements in various competitions.

Rwegasira emphasized that these incentives would increase with each season. To enhance Simba’s global presence, Jayrutty will also introduce new jerseys of world-class quality.

"I assure all Simba fans that this season will be a game-changer. The jerseys will meet international standards, and the club will continue to grow in prestige and value," he said.

With this partnership, Simba SC is positioning itself for greater success both locally and internationally, reinforcing its commitment to remain a powerhouse in East African football.
