Tanzanian youth leader wins prestigious African influence award

Accra, Ghana – Tanzanian youth advocate Steven Magombeka, widely known as Kasampaida, has been named among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans of 2025. He was honored during a high-profile awards ceremony held early Sunday morning in Accra, Ghana.

Organized by the Pan-African Youth Authority, the awards recognize young changemakers across the continent who are making outstanding contributions in fields such as entrepreneurship, activism, leadership, and innovation. This year’s edition attracted over 5,000 nominations from 52 African countries.
