The Tanzania Basketball Federation (TBF) has issued a reminder to all regions selected to participate in the upcoming Taifa Cup to intensify preparations both financially and technically as the tournament approaches.
Scheduled to take place from June 19 to 28 in Dodoma, the Taifa Cup is one of the country’s premier national basketball events, drawing talent and competition from across the nation.
TBF Secretary General Mwenza Kabinda urged regional basketball bodies to actively engage their stakeholders to ensure their teams are fully equipped and ready to compete at the highest level.
“Our goal is to ensure that all participating teams are well-prepared, so we can deliver a competitive and successful tournament this year,” Kabinda said.
He added that the Federation is committed to supporting the regions and ensuring that the event runs smoothly.
“TBF extends its best wishes to all participating regions and encourages thorough preparation for an exciting and high-quality Taifa Cup,” he concluded.
