Simba Football Club secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Mashujaa in the NBC Premier League of Mainland Tanzania. The match took place today at the KMC Complex Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
In the 6th minute, Mashujaa took an early lead, with Jafari Kibaya scoring the opening goal.
Following the goal, Simba responded by launching a series of attacking plays, putting pressure on Mashujaa's defense. Despite their efforts, Mashujaa managed to hold off Simba’s attacks and protect their goal.
Between the 7th and 45th minute of the first half, Simba had several chances, including a number of free kicks, but they were unable to break through Mashujaa’s defense. At the end of the first half, Mashujaa remained in the lead with a 1-0 advantage.
In the 65th minute, Simba drew level with a penalty goal from Leonal Ateba, making it 1-1.
As the game approached the final moments, Simba managed to find a dramatic winner in the 90+19th minute, securing a 2-1 victory.
After 90 minutes of intense play, Simba emerged victorious, while Mashujaa had to settle for a narrow defeat.
