Dr. Biteko to attend US-Africa nuclear summit in Nairobi

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Hon. Dr. Doto Biteko, has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, to attend the Second US-Africa Nuclear Energy Summit. 

This summit brings together key stakeholders from the United States and African nations to discuss the future of nuclear energy on the continent.

The summit will feature discussions on the energy sector’s readiness to manage the nuclear value chain and will highlight the critical role of women and youth in the industry. 

The conversations aim to foster collaboration and promote sustainable nuclear energy development in Africa.

Dr. Biteko is accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, the Ministry of Energy, and the Ministry of Minerals. 

His visit underscores Tanzania’s commitment to enhancing its energy sector and exploring innovative solutions to meet growing energy demands while ensuring inclusivity and sustainability.
