Tanzania Commercial Bank (TCB) has joined the preparatory meeting towards the launch of the International Festival for Film and Arts Development in Tanzania.

Organized by the Foundation Ambassadors Gender Development Initiatives (FAGDI) in collaboration with the Tanzania Film Board, the festival will take place in December this year.

The event will bring together film and arts stakeholders from the globe to discuss the future of the industry in Tanzania and beyond, addressing the challenges facing the sector, find solutions, and create sustainable plans for growth.

Speaking at the launch, TCB’s Head of Marketing, Ms. Janeth Zoya, stressed the importance of the festival, underlining the power of art in positive social change, economic growth, and showcasing Tanzania’s culture globally.

“The film and arts industry can tell our stories and display our heritage to the world. This festival will be a chance for stakeholders to come together, discuss strategies, and tackle challenges such as access to markets and digital platforms,” she said

TCB’s sponsorship reflects its commitment to supporting projects that contribute to Tanzania’s cultural and economic growth. The bank aims to help develop a vibrant arts and film sector in the country.
