Tanzania
Commercial Bank (TCB) has joined the preparatory meeting towards the launch of the
International Festival for Film and Arts Development in Tanzania.
Organized
by the Foundation Ambassadors Gender Development Initiatives (FAGDI) in
collaboration with the Tanzania Film Board, the festival will take place in
December this year.
The event
will bring together film and arts stakeholders from the globe to discuss the
future of the industry in Tanzania and beyond, addressing the challenges facing
the sector, find solutions, and create sustainable plans for growth.
Speaking
at the launch, TCB’s Head of Marketing, Ms. Janeth Zoya, stressed the
importance of the festival, underlining the power of art in positive social
change, economic growth, and showcasing Tanzania’s culture globally.
“The film
and arts industry can tell our stories and display our heritage to the world. This
festival will be a chance for stakeholders to come together, discuss
strategies, and tackle challenges such as access to markets and digital
platforms,” she said
TCB’s

Tanzania’s cultural and economic growth. The bank aims to help develop a
vibrant arts and film sector in the country.
