On September 17, 2024, Deputy Minister of Energy, Hon. Judith Kapinga, attended the final match of the Doto Cup 2024. The guest of honor for the event was the Minister of Works, Hon. Innocent Bashungwa.
The tournament was organized by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Hon. Dr. Doto Biteko, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Bukombe constituency.
In a thrilling finale, the Butinzya football team emerged as the champion. The guest of honor, Hon. Bashungwa, awarded the team Sh 5 million, three sets of jerseys, and three footballs as part of their victory celebration.
