Dr. Samia is not willing to engage in violent politics

By Samwel Ndoni, Mbeya

President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan will never engage in divisive politics but has instead focused her energy on bringing development to rural communities, according to the Minister of Constitutional and Legal Affairs, Professor Palamaganda Kabudi.

During a working tour in the Rungwe District Council, Mbeya Region, Professor Kabudi reiterated that President Samia is a leader committed to development and not political chaos, which he described as a hindrance to the well-being of the people and the nation at large.

While inspecting the construction of a small bus terminal (Coaster) worth TZS 380 million, funded by the district's internal revenue, Professor Kabudi praised the significant efforts made by the President. "Everyone can see the tremendous work President Samia is doing," he said.

Addressing the youth, he remarked, "We have come a long way. Some of the development we are witnessing today, such as access to clean water, well-constructed health centers, improved education facilities, reliable communications through mobile towers, and the construction of adequate roads, was beyond what we once imagined."

Speaking on energy, Professor Kabudi assured Rungwe residents that they should expect a steady supply of electricity, especially with the upcoming Mbozi Mountain Power Project, which is set to generate 30 megawatts of electricity.

On the upcoming local government elections, Professor Kabudi urged citizens to elect leaders who are responsive to their concerns and capable of delivering solutions, rather than choosing ineffective leaders who cannot adequately represent them.

The Mbeya Regional Commissioner, Juma Homera, echoed these sentiments, stating that the Sixth Phase Government has significantly improved social services and civil infrastructure. He cited advancements in water supply, roads, healthcare, energy, and agriculture as key achievements under President Samia's administration.
