Simba depart for Tunisia to face SC Sfaxien

Simba, Tanzania’s representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup, departed early today for Tunisia, where they will face SC Sfaxien in a return leg match on January 5, 2025.

The match, scheduled to kick off at 10:00 PM local time, will be crucial as Simba aims to secure three away points to strengthen their position in the group stage.

In their first encounter, Simba defeated SC Sfaxien 2-1 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, earning an important home victory.

After their clash in Tunisia, Simba will head to Angola to face Bravos on January 12, 2025, also at 10:00 PM local time.

 The Tanzanian side previously secured a 1-0 win over Bravos at home.

Simba’s final group-stage match is set for January 19, 2025, at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium against SC Constantine.

 In their previous encounter, Simba suffered a 2-1 loss away in Algeria.

With two away matches and one home game remaining, Simba will be aiming to collect all nine points to secure a place in the tournament’s quarterfinals.
