Tanzania’s Minister for Health, Jenista Mhagama, has delivered a special message from the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, to the President of the Republic of Malawi, Lazarus Chakwera, at the Presidential Palace in Lilongwe, Malawi.
Upon receiving the message, President Chakwera expressed his deep appreciation for Tanzania’s continued friendship and cooperation.
“Malawi values its strong and historic ties with Tanzania, and we remain committed to further strengthening this partnership for the benefit of our people,” he said.
Minister Mhagama, accompanied by Tanzania’s Ambassador to Malawi, Agnes Kayola, and her delegation, conveyed President Samia’s appreciation for the enduring diplomatic relations between the two nations.
“President Samia recognizes the importance of our shared history and the need to maintain and enhance our collaboration,” she stated.
She further highlighted the significance of bilateral cooperation, noting that “our partnership continues to yield tangible benefits in key areas such as trade, health, and regional development.” Minister Mhagama also extended gratitude to President Chakwera and the government of Malawi for their warm hospitality.
