Neema Msitha to officiate TADA Cup as chief guest

Neema Msitha, the Executive Secretary of the National Sports Council (BMT), is set to grace the TADA Cup tournament as the chief guest. 

The event, scheduled for April 5 and 6, 2025, in Dodoma, promises to be a thrilling showcase of talent, as players from across the country gather to compete in the popular darts competition.

The TADA Cup, organized by the Tanzania Darts Association (TADA), serves as a significant opportunity to boost the profile of darts in Tanzania.

 It brings together seasoned players and enthusiastic newcomers alike, aiming to foster the sport’s development and recognition at both the national and regional levels.

Joseph Innocent, the Secretary-General of TADA, spoke exclusively with The Respondent Online, confirming that preparations for the event are moving forward smoothly. 

He highlighted that teams from various sectors, including military and civilian organizations, have already confirmed their participation, showing strong interest in the tournament.

"Our preparations are well on track, and we’re seeing a positive response from teams across the country," said Innocent. 

"We’ve received confirmations from military teams as well as civilian groups, which shows the diversity and widespread appeal of the event."

He emphasized that the TADA Cup provides an exciting opportunity for participants to demonstrate their skills on a national stage. 

This competition will bring together some of the best players in the country, creating a dynamic and competitive atmosphere.

 Innocent encouraged all teams and individuals who plan to participate to register early, ensuring the event runs smoothly and efficiently.

"We urge all participants to complete their registrations promptly and to continue training in preparation for the tournament. This is a chance to showcase their talents and contribute to the growth of darts in Tanzania," he added.

The TADA Cup has quickly become one of the premier sporting events in Tanzania, gaining traction not only among local players but also among sports enthusiasts and supporters.

 The presence of Neema Msitha as the chief guest underscores the event’s significance, as it aligns with BMT’s ongoing efforts to promote various sports in Tanzania.
