Yanga Princess triumphed 2-1 over FountainGate Princess in a thrilling Tanzania Women’s Premier League match held today, March 25, 2025, at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam.
The game saw Yanga Princess take an early lead in the 23rd minute, thanks to a brilliant strike by Jeannie Mukandayisenga.
At halftime, Yanga Princess led 1-0 as both teams took a break.
FountainGate Princess fought back in the 62nd minute, leveling the score with a goal from Ausebia Albert.
However, Yanga Princess regained the lead in the 74th minute, with Jeannine scoring her second goal of the match to secure the victory and the three points for her side.
The match concluded after 90 minutes with Yanga Princess emerging victorious, winning 2-1.
