This message was conveyed by the Corporation’s Managing Director, CPA Ashraph Yusuph Abdulkarim, during a brief office handover ceremony held today (April 4, 2025) in Dar es Salaam.
The Managing Director emphasized that with discipline and integrity in their work, it is clear that productivity will rise, the work environment will improve, and the Corporation will achieve better outcomes in its operations.
“I am committed to working closely with my colleagues to drive the Corporation forward, enhance its efficiency, control revenue leakage, increase income sources, and implement effective business plans,” said CPA Ashraph.
He also expressed his gratitude to President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for placing her trust in him by appointing him as the Managing Director of the Kariakoo Market Corporation.

Ghasia further stressed that the Board of Directors has full confidence in the new Managing Director, citing the experience he gained while working at the Muhimbili National Hospital.
She also encouraged him to develop plans for building additional markets in the Corporation's areas, such as Mbezi Beach and Tabata Bima.
