Ummy Nderiananga, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office for Policy, Parliamentary Affairs, and Coordination, has lauded the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in the Federal Republic of Germany for its outstanding work.
She made the remarks on April 4, 2025, during her visit to the Embassy’s offices in Berlin, where she interacted with the staff.
After receiving a detailed briefing on the Embassy’s activities from the Tanzanian Ambassador to Germany, Hassan Mwamweta, Nderiananga expressed her admiration for the Embassy's efforts in representing the country and advancing economic diplomacy.
Hon. Nderiananga commended the Embassy staff for their dedication to identifying and securing economic opportunities, particularly in promoting Tanzania to attract investors and businesspeople to the country.
“I want to specifically congratulate you for your excellent execution of your duties. You have been at the forefront of putting economic diplomacy into action, thus representing President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan with great effectiveness. You truly deserve recognition for this, and I urge you to keep up the excellent work as you continue to represent our country with pride,” stated Ummy.
Earlier, Ambassador Mwamweta shared insights into the Embassy's role in strengthening bilateral ties between Tanzania and Germany, emphasizing the importance of fostering mutually beneficial relations.
“We are deeply grateful for this visit, Deputy Minister Ummy, as it highlights the government’s continued commitment to strengthening the already solid relations between our two nations. We will continue promoting Tanzania, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, and tourism,” Ambassador Mwamweta said.
He further assured that the Embassy will continue to seize the many opportunities in Germany, with a focus on benefiting Tanzanians, especially in the commercial sector.
