In the women’s category, Tallis also emerged champions after gathering 228 points. Dar Swim finished second with 93 points, while Bluefins came third with 40 points.
In the men's overall standings, Dar Swim topped the table with 225 points, while Tallis IST came second with 192 points, and Mwanza finished third, earning 55 points.
Speaking after the event, Charles Maguzu, the Sports Officer from the National Sports Council (BMT), congratulated the winners and encouraged those who did not win to prepare better for future competitions.
He emphasized that the government would continue to collaborate with various sports associations, including swimming, to support the growth and development of sports in the country.
On his part, the Chairman of the Tanzania Swimming Association (TSA), David Mwasyoge, said the championship brought together 112 swimmers from clubs across the nation.
Mwasyoge expressed satisfaction with the rising standards of the swimmers, noting that several national records were broken during the competition. He added that incentives were given to those who achieved these milestones to motivate them further.
"Although our target was to have a larger number of swimmers breaking national records, we are pleased with the progress made, and we have awarded those who reached the goal," Mwasyoge said.
