The general elections for the Tanzania Paralympic Swimming Association (TPSA), aimed at electing new leaders, are scheduled to take place tomorrow in Dar es Salaam.
The National Sports Council (BMT) successfully conducted the candidate screening process for the elections, which was held on April 4th at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
In an official statement, the Election Chairperson, Apansia Lema, announced the names of the candidates who passed the screening and will compete for leadership positions, with each position having only one candidate.
Thauriya Diria is vying for the Chairperson position, while Clara Kazigha is the sole candidate for Vice-Chairperson. Ramadhani Namkoveka is running unopposed for the position of Secretary-General.
Other candidates include Edgar Malenge for the Treasurer position, Julius Felix Maganga for the role of Director of Technical Affairs, Innotcent Jonas for Director of Education and Training, and Bilal Lal, who is contesting the position of [position to be clarified].
