Mbeya City Football Club has officially earned promotion to the NBC Premier League for the upcoming season after an emphatic 5-0 victory over Cosmopolitan FC. The match was played at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya.
The win takes Mbeya City's tally to 65 points from 29 matches, ensuring their return to top-flight football.
They join Mtibwa Sugar, who currently top the league table with 68 points and had already secured promotion.
