The Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) has conducted a specialized training program for its employees aimed at promoting workplace ethics, enhancing professionalism, and fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.

The training, held on April 30, 2025, at the NCAA Headquarters in Karatu, was designed to instill strong ethical values among staff, thereby improving overall performance and service delivery.

Speaking during the opening session on behalf of the Conservation Commissioner, Senior Assistant Commissioner Mariam Kobelo emphasized that the training is part of the Authority’s broader strategy to invest in and develop its human resources.

“In addition to enhancing professional competence, this training is essential in building workplace unity, discipline, and ethical conduct among staff,” she said.

The sessions were facilitated by experts from various government institutions, including the President’s Office   Ethics Secretariat (Northern Zone), the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) in Karatu District, and Mzumbe University.

Key topics covered included public service ethics, time management, teamwork, anti-corruption measures in the workplace, and proper records management in the execution of government duties.

Participants expressed appreciation for the training, noting that it has renewed their personal commitment to upholding professional ethics.

Many pledged to serve as ambassadors of integrity by encouraging one another and working collaboratively to achieve the Authority’s goals.
