Simba and Mbeya City to begin CRDB Federation Cup quarterfinals

The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has officially announced the commencement of the highly anticipated quarterfinals of the CRDB Federation Cup, a competition that has drawn significant attention from fans and teams alike.

 The tournament, which serves as one of the key football events in Tanzania, will see some of the country's top football clubs battle for a place in the semifinals and ultimately, the coveted title.

The opening match of the quarterfinal stage will feature two football giants, Simba SC and Mbeya City, who are set to face off on April 13, 2025, at the KMC Complex Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

 Simba, known for their dominant performance in domestic competitions, will be looking to maintain their form and advance further in the competition. 

Mbeya City, on the other hand, will aim to continue their impressive run in the tournament and pull off an upset against the heavyweights of Tanzanian football.

The following day, April 14, 2025, will witness another exciting clash as JKT Tanzania take on Pamba Jiji at the Major General Isamuhyo Stadium, also located in Dar es Salaam.

 JKT Tanzania, a team with a strong history in Tanzanian football, will be eager to make their mark in the tournament, while Pamba Jiji, a team that has shown resilience and skill, will be determined to prove themselves against their opponents in what promises to be a fiercely contested match.

On April 15, 2025, the action moves to Singida, where Singida Black Stars will take on Kagera Sugar at the CCM Liti Stadium. 

Singida Black Stars, who have been performing strongly this season, will look to build on their momentum and secure a place in the next stage of the competition.

 Meanwhile, Kagera Sugar, a team with a rich footballing tradition, will bring their own style of play to the pitch in an effort to keep their title hopes alive.

The final quarterfinal match will take place on April 16, 2025, when Yanga SC faces Stand United at the KMC Complex Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

 Yanga, one of the most successful and popular football clubs in Tanzania, will be aiming to assert their dominance and continue their push for the Federation Cup title.

 Stand United, however, will not go down without a fight and will be determined to secure a historic win and advance to the semifinals.

As the quarterfinals unfold, fans across the country are eagerly awaiting the results of these high-stakes matches. 

After 90 minutes of intense football, the winners will move one step closer to securing a spot in the semifinals, while the losers will have to bid farewell to the competition. 

The excitement surrounding the CRDB Federation Cup continues to build, and with each match, the stakes get higher, making for an electrifying football experience for all involved.
