The President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, His Excellency Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, has traveled from Zanzibar to Zimbabwe to attend the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Heads of State and Government Summit.
President Dr. Mwinyi, accompanied by his wife, Her Excellency Mrs. Mariam Mwinyi, was warmly received upon arrival at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare by Tanzania’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Her Excellency CP Suzan Kaganda.
At the summit, President Dr. Mwinyi is representing the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.
The meeting will focus on discussing the guidelines and sustainable preservation of carbon trading among SADC member states.
