Dar es Salaam, May 7, 2025 – The Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE) is taking part in the 18th E-Learning Africa Conference.

The event is being held at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre in Dar es Salaam. It brings together participants from 65 countries.

The conference includes exhibitions where institutions from both inside and outside Tanzania are showing their digital education tools. These tools help improve teaching and learning in different ways.

TIE is showcasing several technologies at the event. These include the SMART CLASS, a Learning Management System (LMS), and a Digital Library. All of these tools are helping teachers and students learn more easily and effectively.

Dr. Aneth Komba, the Director General of TIE, attended the event and visited the TIE exhibition booth. She saw how the team is explaining their work to the visitors.

“Our goal is to use technology to make education better. This conference gives us a chance to share ideas with others and learn from them too,” she said.

The E-Learning Africa Conference is one of the biggest events for digital education in Africa. It brings together experts, leaders, and technology developers to talk about how digital tools can support education across the continent.
